Sure it works...if you've got iron hands and don't mind carbon Jan 28, 2007

""...also I'll brush my teeth and remember to turn off the stars at night and put the hyena out." ERN"
Trapped in a work setting with horrible tap water, this appeared to be a cost-effective alternative to lugging bottled water to my office.
The problem is, something went horribly awry in the manufacturing end of things over at Aquasana. In specific, the carbon filter works TOO well.
It takes Incredible Hulk-like pressure to get water through the carbon filter situated at the top of the bottle. Related, the bottom 1/4 of each bottle is useless. There's simply no way of squeezing, willing and/or forcing water through Ft. Knox of carbon filters.
Moreover, this same carbon filter must work like a star because you can literally taste it in every sip you manage to squeeze through. I doubt it's toxic, but it certainly isn't tasty.
Great for Travel! Feb 19, 2009
By Anonymous We don't travel often, but when we do, we are sure to take this bottle. It's great for hotel water, airport water, etc. Water has always tasted great and is easy to drink.
