Great for big snacks, petite lunch May 13, 2009
By J. Butler My family has been using one for 6 months for daughter's school snack. It gets thrown into her backpack, takes a beating and still looks new. I wipe it out daily and throw in dishwasher on Friday. Stainless feels high-quality, very thick and sturdy, has not dented yet.
My daughter is 9 and found the clasps a little tough to open at first, but loves it so much she doesn't care. Would not recommend for under age 8, due to tightness of clasps. For the rest of us, I like the tight clasps - it will not open by itself.
As previous reviewer said - not for liquids, they will seep, but could work for rice dishes, lasagna, etc. Size is a little big for snacks, would prefer something 30% smaller. Can even fit a whole (small) apple in here and just get the lid shut. Packs over 2 cups of goldfish. Size is a little small for lunch - one sandwich and some room left-over. Two of these perfect for packing a lunch in an insulated bag along w/a drink. Or buy a tiffin lunch box, which we use also.

A good container Apr 26, 2010
By Dixie R. Smith If you are an adult and eat cold lunches, this is a good addition to your lunch box. It's not a product for a young child's box because of sharp edges and firm latches.

Stainless Steel Container Apr 12, 2009
By L. A. The perfect size for a sandwich, small salad, or leftovers. Seals well, but wouldn't recommend for soups or all liquid foods. Easy to clean. Doesn't stain or take on the smell of the food that was in it. Dishwasher safe. Looks sharp. Matches my stainless steel water bottles. Safe, doesn't leech chemicals. Very durable. Will be using for a very long time. I liked this so much I ordered the three tiered stainless steel lunch box with bag and bamboo utensil set too. Will be buying these single containers as gifts for people!

an opinion from a big fan of Stainless Steel lunchboxes Mar 21, 2011

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RR9LU4AUD3PLD small, non-rounded edge on the food container, and doesn't include a great latching system. I've seen other stainless steel lunchboxes in local grocery stores, but they are previously sold out at my grocery store. Take this review for what it's worth.

broken within days Dec 17, 2010

The clips on this repeatedly broke off within a couple days of purchase. Love the nesting design and all-steel idea, but this is too cheaply made to hold up. Might still be workable if you slip a bento box thick rubber band around it.
