Cheap, built to last, reliable, grinds well May 14, 2010
By Re-view-eR It is a grain mill, so if you buy it to mill dry grain, it is exactly what it will do. It will not dance, cook supper, or sing for you.
It is built like a tank and very powerful. I think it is likely to last forever. It grinds much faster than by hand :)
It is also much cheaper than comparable Kitchenaid unit that attaches to Kitchenaid mixers.
It has easy adjustment for coarse and fine grinding, and it can grind any dry grain to dust. It is not for oily or soft grain. Check Champion website before buying to know exactly what is and is not recommended for grinding with this unit.
Ignore the negative review for this product. It is posted by someone on a vendetta against Champion and does not reflect true nature of the product, OR the company!

for the price its great Sep 25, 2010
By another health nut I have been using this grinder pretty heavily for a couple of years now and it has held up well. There are some annoying things about it: I have to grind 2x to the the fineness that I want, I had to tape a magnet to it to get it to turn on, it is extremely loud (i use ear protection,) the snap on bag is kind of annoying. All in all I think this is a great deal despite the annoyances. Someday I may cough up the money and get a wisper mill or something that is quieter and doesn't need to grind 2x.

We bought this Grain mill attachment after I had used my dads to make sure we would put it to good use. when we first tried it out it would not mill as finely as I wanted but luckily my smarty pants husband figured out how to adjust it and we are flour makin fools... Definatley worth the money and a very healthy investment.
