Over all great! But too small! Feb 18, 2010 I purchased this item from Henry's Marketplace, a healthful grocery down by me. What I really loved was the red color (I got the red one) and the fact that it doesn't make my water taste all gross and metallic. It's very handy and fits into my purse. Also, something I love about it is that it fits into the cup holders in my car! That's been harder with the larger, fatter, plastic reusable bottles. Unfortunately, the flip side to it being so small is that, well, it's small! I finish the water that it holds in no time and am looking to refill it. It is definitely perfect for kids, not really for adults. I wish they made one for grown-ups that was the same style, just a little taller to accommodate grown-up sized water needs but still be cute and fit into my cup holder. Oh well...
Leaks! Aug 19, 2009 I wanted to purchase several of these since it's the perfect size to carry juice and milk in lunches. I ordered one to try out. The bottle and lid appears to be made out of cheap material. The lid leaks if the bottle falls over in your lunch box but the liquid won't come out if you are drinking from it. You get a lot of air and just a few drops of liquid. Turning upside down and attempting to suck the liquid out doesn't work either. I'm sending this one back and will continue looking for 8-10 ounce bottles to send in lunches.
Leaked from the beginning Jan 30, 2009 I bought two of these at Henry's. They both leaked into our kids' lunch boxes so I had to take them back. Okay otherwise as long as you keep it upright.
Fits well into the lunchbox Dec 19, 2008 I like that this bottle fits perfectly into a hard sided lunchbox, but after only a few months, one of them started to leak at the lid where it screws on to the neck of the bottle. They work great otherwise. The mouth is narrow so it's better to wash by hand with a brush than putting them into the dishwasher.
ok, but leaks Aug 24, 2008 We bought some of these on sale at Whole Foods (not here at Amazon). They aren't terrible, but if the kids don't drink everything (and it's almost impossible to drink everything out of them), they tend to leak by the end of the day. So, lunch boxes come home with milk in them, which is messy and frustrating.
