We have used this Aquasana shower filter with wand for about a year now and like it very much. It was easy to install. The molded plastic is high quality and comfortable on the hands and eyes. Although to be honest I didn't notice the dramatic change in hair quality that others have commented on, I feel great knowing that I am eliminating a highly absorbable source of chlorine from my family's environment. In addition to showers we also use it to fill up the tub for our children's baths.

Although Aquasana offers a six month replacement filter combo deal along with a filter for their countertop drinking water unit, if you read elsewhere you see that the shower filter is actually good for one whole year.

Got this because of the high mineral content in our water, and my skin dries very easily, plus I wanted to make sure all the nasties are filtered out for when we shower the baby. With this, all problems solved. It's really that simple.

It was simple to install. Made of quality materials. Fits together perfectly, so no leaking.

A big plus is the removable shower wand.

The only downside is that the filter will eventually need to be replaced. But it's worth it.

I'm one of those people who LOVE long showers. I have been using Aquasana's shower filter for years and wouldn't change a thing! It's easy to install/maintain and though the wand it comes with is good, it can also be swapped for whatever brand/style/color you like. I've used my shower filter in both the city and the country. It's great at removing both chlorine and iron. Because I take super long showers, I like to change the filter every 4 months instead of 6. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is concerned about water quality, has allergies, skin sensitivities, etc. It has worked WONDERS for me!
